SPM - the 3 cows are no longer there! Found the wooden gate bars at the top end smashed and finally caught up with them calmly munching in No Man's Land. Informed Sam. Unable to remove the broken wooden bars as couldn't remove the jammed padlock. So now free flow between the meadows!
Came across the deer on the eastern path and a family of 4 young greylag geese with mum and dad. The goslings are almost full size now.
Met a couple of proud grandparents pushing their 6 month old twins round the reserve. Despite not living very far away it was the first time they had been and were enthusing about how beautiful it is.
Only a small amount of litter today. Noticed a drinks can in the pond but too far out to retrieve.
