Met a couple of people who had seen a short, stubby dragonfly-esque insect with bright green wings? Not sure what it was but they confirmed it wasn't a damselfly, mayfly or dragonfly.
Replaced the mini stream sluice board with a slightly shorter board to allow more flow and less flooding!
Trimmed as much bramble and low hanging branches as I could from the paths.
Also botch-strained some wire fencing at the top of the site.
Beautiful warm day with plenty of families enjoying the sun with picnics.
An event was going on at the leisure park which echoed onto site but it was nice to hear happy people enjoying themselves.
