Very quiet - just three people walking round which included a couple visiting the Christmas Market and intrigued by the water vole trail. The orange net fence at the Itchen gate is intact. A good pile of gravel now just inside the Durngate gate waiting for a work party.
Watched a red kite being mobbed by 4 crows at the northern end of SPM and heard a water rail in the reeds.
A fair bit of litter at the Durngate bench in particular and 2 drinks cans floating in the pond - unfortunately too far out for me to reach with a stick.
