More busy than usual with lots of people in varying small group sizes. Several people asked when the northern end would be open as they loved sitting on the bench up there.
Litter mainly around the benches including a couple of drinks cans by the bench at the far top end. Found a green water bottle and left it by the noticeboard.
Rachel Remnant's old poster about running has been pulled off the fence at Durngate entrance and torn up. SAM could you replace it with a copy of the one on the entrance gate from the recreation ground.
Bits of broken crockery from the plastic crate of sundry items from the river left at the Durngate entrance had been scattered on the ground around the gate into the reserve.
Notice re broken board on the boardwalk still in place.
The reeds on the pond are beginning to grow up again - doesn't take long!
