I had contractors down to remove two trees which kids climb a lot over summer.
The main willow tree which you are all familiar with is gone, it had a lot of bracket Fungus present and was a hazard to anyone who climbed it. It did have nice features but was to risky due to its appeal to the kids.
We did extensive bat and bird checks on the tree, finding nothing so it was okay to remove this time of year.
We used the brash to create a dead hedge, we will see how long it lasts!
